Four products related to urinary tract health. Two specialized ones, Urobiotic Max and Urobiotic Forte, combine D-mannose, cranberry extract, and a probiotic blend. The difference between them lies in the concentration and the duration of the regimen, not the intended use.
What the formulas contain and what each ingredient does
D-mannose
A simple sugar, similar in structure to glucose, which occurs naturally in some fruits. The body absorbs it only to a limited extent. In Urobiotic Max, the amount is 2000 mg per sachet, which is among the higher concentrations on the Bulgarian market.
Cranberry extract
Contains proanthocyanidins, plant compounds from the flavonoid group. It is present in almost all products in this category on the market, and the difference between the formulas is in the quantity and the rest of the composition.
Probiotic blend
The third component and the one that distinguishes Lactoflor from purely plant-based products. The strains in Urobiotic Forte are four, representatives of the genus Lactobacillus and genus Streptococcus, isolated from ecologically clean sources. The blend consists of at least 5 billion lyophilized bacteria per sachet in both products.
Vitamin D3
Present only in Urobiotic Max. Vitamin D is an ingredient with a recognized role in the normal function of the immune system. If you are already taking vitamin D separately, take it into account in your daily intake.
Forte or Max: which for which situation
- Urobiotic Max: 14 sachets, 2000 mg D-mannose, vitamin D3. The more concentrated formula for a shorter period, about three weeks.
- Urobiotic Forte: 30 sachets, 100% natural composition, four probiotic strains. The formula for a phased regimen of 4 to 8 weeks.
- Opti6: not specialized for the urinary tract. It is present in the category because some users take it in parallel as general support for the microflora.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Urobiotic Forte and Urobiotic Max
Max comes in 14 sachets, contains 2000 mg of D-mannose and vitamin D3, and is intended for a shorter regimen. Forte comes in 30 sachets, contains no vitamin D3, has a 100% natural composition, and is intended for a phased course of up to 8 weeks.
Can they be taken together with an antibiotic
If a doctor has prescribed a therapy, it takes precedence. The food supplement does not replace it and its intake should be coordinated with them. For probiotic products, the general rule is to maintain an interval of at least two hours from the intake of other medications.
Are they suitable for children
Both products have pediatric schemes for ages 6 and up. The form is a sachet that dissolves in water or juice, meaning there is no need to swallow a capsule. For children, intake should be coordinated with a pediatrician.
Can they be taken for a long time
The Urobiotic Forte scheme explicitly provides for continuation for 4 to 8 weeks, 1 sachet daily. For Max, the period is shorter and is described as 21 days for adults. For longer use, ask a pharmacist.
Why are there probiotics in a formula for the urinary tract
The microflora of the urinary system and vaginal flora are linked to the state of the intestinal flora. That is why some urinary tract formulas include probiotic strains alongside plant ingredients.
When should the sachet be taken during the day
There is no fixed time. It is important to dissolve it in enough liquid and to follow the daily count. Drinking enough water during the day is part of the regimen, not an addition to it.
